Pride and Excellence

Student Council
-High School Student Council members are elected every spring. The student council is involved in organizing many events and activities throughout the school year.
-Members work shifts in the school store, profits from the sales help fund activities like fieldtrips, dances, cook-outs, and also provide donations to needy families in the district.

Career Day
-Each year high school students participate in Career Day. This event is designed to give first hand experience to our students concerning a variety of careers.

Science Olympiad
-Each year high school students prepare for the Science Olympiad competition held at Lake Michigan College. Competition is both individual and team oriented.

Art and Drama Students Visit Chicago
-Twice a year, students who are involved in the art and drama classes go to Chicago to visit art museums and to attend a live theater production.

Student Travel Opportunities
-Every other year students are given the opportunity to broaden their learning experiences by traveling to Europe. Through an educational touring company students are led through some of the most significant historical sites in the world. Past trips have included Rome, Venice,Paris,Germany,Switzerland,London and Madrid.

Berrien County Arts and Science Expo
-High school students prepare and compete in the Berrien County Arts and Science Expo each year. This competition is held in the Orchards Mall.

Drama Club
-The Eau Claire High School Drama Club continues to shine with entertaining presentations for the school and community.

Eau Claire High School Band
-The Eau Claire High School Band has many performances throughout the school year. Students enjoy the Blossomtime Parade and various competitions throughout the year. The holiday concert is always a big favorite.

National Honor Society
-The Eau Claire National Honor Society students organize many programs throughout the year. This active group of students is a great example of Excellence, Commitment, Pride, and Success.
-The National Honor Society students volunteered their time to assist the Berrien County Animal Control Facility.

Looking to the Future
-Senior students and their parents were invited to an on-line computer seminar to assist in financial aid options for college education. Applications, scholarships, grants, loans, and work options were components of the workshop. The Looking to the Future program is just one more way that Eau Claire Public Schools is preparing their students for the future.

High School Athletic Programs
The Eau Claire High School has a full offering of athletic programs: Volleyball, Football, Girls and Boys Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Cross Country, Golf, Softball, Baseball, Wrestling, Track, and Cheerleading. Our school spirit is shining through with participation at an all time high and competition at its best!
